The Admiralty Law Practice Group at Lynch & Robbins represents shipping lines, yacht brokers, freight forwarders, fishermen, marine manufacturers, and companies in every corner of the industry. Maritime Liens, Mortgages, and Seizures: We prosecute and defend maritime mortgage foreclosures, ship seizures, and lien claims.

Cargo Liability:Goods shipped in international waters are subject to the Carriage of Goods by Sea Act (COGSA). Once on land special questions of jurisdiction apply. We prosecute and defend all types of cargo claims.

Passenger Injury or Illness:
Lynch & Robbins has successfully handled mass tort cases and class action litigation brought against cruise ship companies.

Yacht Brokers:
We represent Allied Richard Bertram, as well as other yacht brokers. We can also represent buyers and sellers in a variety of matters.

Maritime Transactional Services:

  • Closings and sale-purchase of vessels, including luxury yachts;
  • Creating and structuring fractional vessel management programs, including drafting of fractional vessel purchase transactions, fractional ownership agreements, fractional management agreements, and fractional operating agreements;
